Performance bonuses and statements

How your performance bonus is worked out from Eligible Net Sales, what your monthly statement shows, and how to question a statement.

How the bonus is worked out

Your offer sets the bonus: a share of Eligible Net Sales, an amount per counted order, or a one-off amount paid in the first month with a counted order. It is capped at the amount your offer states for the whole bonus period.

Eligible Net Sales are the value of the products in orders credited to you, after discounts and refunds. Sales tax and shipping never count, and neither do cancelled, unpaid, test, charged-back or fraud-flagged orders.

Which orders are yours

  1. 1Your tracking link first: a click within the window in your offer before the order. If a customer clicked several creators' links, the latest click counts.
  2. 2Your discount code second, used while your campaign was live.
  3. 3A survey answer naming you is noted, never paid on by itself.

Your monthly statement

Each statement lists the orders that counted, the ones that didn't and why, your rate, your cap and anything carried forward. If something looks wrong, choose "Question this" and our team reviews it. Asking a question never holds up your payment.

Refunds after you are paid (the refund offset)

If a customer is refunded after your bonus was paid, you never pay anything back. The refunded sales come off your next bonus instead (we call this a refund offset), and anything still left when the bonus period ends is written off.

FAQ

Quick answers

Will a refund be taken back from a bonus I was already paid?

No. You never pay anything back. The refunded sales come off your next bonus instead (a refund offset), and anything left at the end of your bonus period is written off.
