For creators

How creators earn with Fluenspire.

A fixed base fee for the work you deliver, a performance bonus on the sales you drive, and pay terms written into every offer before you say yes. Here is exactly how each part works.

Fixed base fee · Performance bonus on Eligible Net Sales · Terms in writing before you start

Three ways to earn

What you can be paid for

Each one is written into your offer or the program terms before you start. Nothing here is a forecast of income.

Base fee

Set in your offer

A fixed base fee for delivered work

Every offer states your fee for the exact deliverables before you accept. It doesn't depend on sales: once all of your content for the campaign is approved, the fee is owed.

When: Paid within 7 days of your content being approved and the brand's payment clearing, and never later than 45 days after approval, even if the brand pays late.

Performance bonus

On Eligible Net Sales

A bonus on the sales you drive

Orders that come through your tracking link or discount code earn a bonus on top of the base fee, on the terms in your offer: a share of Eligible Net Sales, an amount per order, or a one-off amount, up to the cap your offer states.

When: Counted by calendar month and paid on the 20th of the following month.

Finder bonus

$150 per closed pilot

A finder bonus for introducing a brand

You can introduce a brand you know. If that brand goes on to sign and close a pilot with us, you earn a flat finder bonus. Nothing is paid for an introduction alone.

When: Paid with the next bonus cycle, the same way as your campaign payouts.

Base fee

A fixed base fee for the work you deliver

The fee doesn't depend on sales. It is agreed up front, owed when your content is approved, and backed by money the brand has already paid.

Your terms, in writing, first

An offer only reaches you once it states the fee, the deliverables, how many revisions are included, how long the brand may use your content, and when you are paid. If any of these is missing, the offer can't be sent.

Owed when your content is approved

Your base fee becomes due when every deliverable in your offer has been approved. Each approval is recorded, so you can always see what is still open.

Backed by the brand's payment

Brands pay a 50% deposit before any creator is booked, and the rest before the campaign goes live. Your fee is paid once your content is approved and the brand's payment has cleared, and never later than 45 days after approval, even if the brand pays late.

Performance bonus

A bonus on Eligible Net Sales

Your offer sets the bonus: a share of Eligible Net Sales, an amount per counted order, or a one-off amount, with a cap. Here is exactly what counts.

Counts toward your bonus

  • The value of the products in the order, after discounts
  • Orders credited to you by your tracking link or your discount code
  • Orders placed while your campaign's bonus period is running

Never counts

  • Sales tax and shipping charges
  • Refunded amounts, taken off the order they belong to
  • Cancelled, unpaid, test and charged-back orders
  • Orders the store flags as fraud
  • Survey answers on their own: a customer saying they heard of the brand from you is noted, never paid on

Which orders are yours

Your link comes first

If a customer clicked your tracking link within 30 days before ordering (or the window your offer states), the order is yours. If they clicked several creators' links, the most recent click counts.

Your code comes second

With no qualifying link click, an order that used your discount code while your campaign was live is credited to you.

One creator per order

An order is credited to one creator at most, so the same sale is never paid twice. Close calls are flagged for our team to look at.

Monthly statements you can check

Each month's statement lists the orders that counted and the ones that didn't, with the reason, your rate, your cap and the result. If something looks wrong, use "Question this" on the statement and our team reviews it.

Small amounts carry forward

A monthly bonus under $25 rolls into the next month instead of being sent on its own. In the last month of your bonus period it is paid whatever the amount.

You never pay a bonus back

If a customer is refunded after your bonus was paid, you never pay anything back. The refunded sales come off your next bonus instead (we call this a refund offset), and anything still left when the bonus period ends is written off.

Pay timing

When you're paid

From offer to payment, step by step. Your dashboard shows each payment's date, and the reason if one is waiting.

  1. 1

    Get a clear offer

Fee, deliverables, revisions, usage and pay date are all written down, and the brand's deposit has cleared before the offer is sent.

  2. 2

    Create and send drafts

Send each draft from your campaign page in the app. It passes our disclosure check, then the brand reviews it.

  3. 3

    Content approved

Once every deliverable is approved, your base fee is owed and shows on your dashboard.

  4. 4

    Base fee paid

Within 7 days of approval and the brand's payment clearing, and never later than 45 days after approval, even if the brand pays late, with your tax form verified.

  5. 5

    Monthly bonus

Sales are counted each calendar month; the bonus is paid on the 20th of the month after.

Before your first payment

Your tax form

US creators upload a W-9; creators outside the US upload a W-8BEN. You upload the signed form on your dashboard, where it is encrypted and only our payments team can open it, and payments wait until our team has verified it. We check an uploaded tax form within 2 business days.

Your payout details

Enter your payout details once on your dashboard; they are encrypted before they are stored. We pay by Wise, in US dollars, and Fluenspire covers the transfer fee. You never type your tax ID or bank account number into the app: your tax ID is only on the signed form you upload. If you change your payout details, payments to the new details wait 72 hours while we re-check them.

Always a reason when a payment waits

If a payment is on hold, your dashboard says why: content still to be approved, the brand's payment still clearing, or a tax form or payout details still needed.

Finder bonus

Introduce a brand, earn $150 per closed pilot

You can tell us about a brand you know from the Referrals panel on your dashboard. If they close a pilot with us, the finder bonus is paid with the next bonus cycle.

  • Only a closed pilot counts. Nothing is paid for an introduction alone.
  • Share a contact only with their OK.
  • The bonus is written into the campaign records, because it is a material connection under FTC rules.
  • Introducing a brand doesn't change how creators are picked for its campaigns: the same vetting applies to everyone.
  • The Referrals panel on your dashboard is where you introduce a brand.
Our limits

What we never do

Fair pay starts with honest terms. These lines are built into how we work with every creator.

  • Promise you a level of income. What you earn depends on the offers you accept and the sales your content drives.
  • Make sales commission your only pay. Every offer starts from a fixed base fee for the work you deliver.
  • Take back a bonus we have already paid you because of a later refund.
  • Ask you to post without a clear disclosure. Every sponsored post needs one, and we check it before approval.
FAQ

Questions about creator pay

Do I still get my base fee if the campaign doesn't sell?

The base fee is fixed in your offer and doesn't depend on sales. It is owed once all of your content for the campaign has been approved, and paid after the brand's payment has cleared, and never later than 45 days after approval, even if the brand pays late, once your tax form is verified and your payout details are on file.

What are Eligible Net Sales?

The value of the products in orders credited to you, after discounts and refunds. Sales tax and shipping never count, and neither do cancelled, unpaid, test, charged-back or fraud-flagged orders.

When is my performance bonus paid?

Sales are counted by calendar month. Your statement for a month is checked by our team and the bonus is paid in the following month, after your tax form has been verified.

What happens if a customer is refunded after my bonus was paid?

You never pay a bonus back. The refunded sales come off your next bonus instead (a refund offset), and anything left when your bonus period ends is written off.

How does the finder bonus work?

You can introduce a brand from your dashboard. If that brand closes a pilot with us, you earn $150, paid with the next bonus cycle. Nothing is paid for an introduction alone.

Which tax form do I need?

Creators in the United States need a W-9; creators elsewhere a W-8BEN. You upload the signed form on your dashboard. We check an uploaded tax form within 2 business days. Payments start once it has been verified.
